Tuesday Tidbits

9 Oct

Today was an interesting and full day.  It started out looking for another rv park that is closer to Juli’s.  It’s called the Floridian and it’s located on Boggy Creek Rd.  We’ll be living in what us “rver’s” call the “hood”. It’s a mixture of really old rv’s, mobile homes and newer rv’s. Florida is full of these mobile home/modular home/rv/ places where the snowbirds come for the winter. The area we are in which is the St. Cloud area seems very retro to us and we like that.  The great thing about the Floridian is that it is right off a road that has a great bicycling lane and we hope to take advantage of that and it is only 10 minutes from Juli’s and it is only $186 a week. The big move will happen on Thursday after we the motorhome to a Camping World to get the satellite fixed and our freezer.

The photo was taken after getting conked on the head with a power drill that fell off the ladder I was moving. Ouch big time.  We put ice on it which is what you see on my head.  I have a little lump and don’t have any ill effects.  I am very hard headed. Thankfully the incident happened at the end of my painting day. We got so much accomplishe

Bird, bird, bird – maybe you should be bubble-wrapped! Hope Wednesday is better – but it is whiney Wednesday. Hope you don’t have a headache/

Oh my…Jay. Now I know why I don’t hang around any tools. Maybe. Few fools but, no tools. 🙂 Glad there is no concussion for heaven sakes.
